I have monthly  production figures since 2018-2019. I need to find out Highest and Smallest growth in production (as a %) year over year.

Need to find optimum workflow for the above scenario.

Hi @whiran ,

The workflow attached should help you calculate the YoY Growth (in %). The key is in the steps within the yellow container, which effectively utilises the Multi-Row Formula Tool to help you calculate this growth. Then, use the Sample Tool the identify the year which has the highest / smallest growth (in absolute %).

Hope this solution helps! 🙂

Is this what you have in mind.

an idea, hopefully you can build on it.

Hi @whiran ,

Yes, you are right! As your goal is to just find the YoY Growth (%) from 2018 to 2019, the previous solution may have been over-engineered!

Please find the revised solution as attached 🙂 The steps are much simpler, with the aid of the Cross-Tab Tool which will help in dynamically calculating the YoY Growth (%). As you can see, December has the highest growth, and in contrast, April has the smallest growth.

Hope this helps!
