Hello - I am having an issue with Alteryx designer. To start, I am encountering a common issue (given there are a few posts about it) of my Designer having the error message in the results window "Memory limit reached. Use a Browse tool to view full results".
A couple of quick data points:
- Alteryx Version: 2024.1.1.136 Patch: 4
- Computer Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics 3.30 GHz
- Ram: 32.0 GB (27.7 GB usable)
- My current Alteryx yxmd size is 102kb
- I am working with a fairly small dataset (1 file has 3,940 records and 16 fields; Another has 26,778 records and 8 fields)
- I am not doing complex manipulations (i.e., I'm doing your basic formulas, 1-2 joins, etc)
- I am not using any "Block Until Done" tools
In a lot of posts, it says that I need to increase my memory limit within User Settings. However, my designer does not have these settings I'm able to access.
The top ribbon only shows File, Edit, View, Options, Add-Ons, Help, and a "Global" Icon. Finally within Options > User Settings > Edit User Settings, I am only able to modify basic things within Alteryx designer (e.g., Themes, Language Region, General). I don't have "Workflow Configuration" that others have.
Question: Do you know how I can access / add these settings to my Designer? In addition (not mentioned above), how do I make it so when I click a tool I can see the results? Currently, when my workflow results did work, I have to manually click the output anchor (i.e., nothing showed in results when I click the tool itself).
Thank you in advance for your help and replies!

1) turn off amp. 2) what are the datatypes on your fields. So the amount of records here are less important the types of records. you can have 100mm string rows and it might be fine - but 1000 blob files - and you'll have a world of pain. can you use an autofield? can you confirm that no fields are either blob or spaital?
