Help on 41 Understanding a Designer Application

I am following 41 Understanding a Designer Application to use the Interface, which is a rather simple one.

But I cannot get the expected results. Mine is returning as attached.

Thank you  for the encouragement. I could have dig a bit more before asking.

Anyway, now I am having the issue that the input for interface will not act on the output.

See picture, even I input 50 for the output record, but still a 100 record is output.
