Headers and footers are rendered on the wrong pages when rendering to docx file

Hello everybody,

I have this weird problem regarding headers and footers when rendering to docx (pdf works fine). I have automated a report that outputs multiple tables to docx, each table on a different page with a custom header and footer. However, everything is mixed up.  I have tried it on multiple laptops, but I get the same error. Any idea why this happens? Am I doing something wrong?

Please find below a simplified flow, together with the output rendered as docx and pdf.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

@AlexandruMititelu have you tried the actual header and footer tool?

@binuacs --- I took a stab at that. Those tools are really limited. Especially report header. I used report footer which worked correctly given the limitations. I played with a few other things too -> which worked for footers - but not for headers in Word -- they did work for pdfs.

I did for the sake of the example, as the two are really limited and do not allow me to format in the same way I need for my report.

Even so, they still get mixed. At the end of the day, the two tools are just macros that do the same thing as me creating a layout and selecting it as header/footer.
