Hi all,
Yesterday I found out Google Fit had the option to export activity data.
Having done that, I noticed that all the files are in a .TCX file format.
However, I am not seeing any option to input these files.
Seeing as the files are XML based, is there any work-around to input these files?

Hi @RemcoV
You can use any one of the below to open your .TCX file which you have.
A TCX (Training Center XML) file is a data exchange format used to share data between fitness devices.
JGPSTrackEdit
GPS Utility
RouteConverter
Notepad++
3D Route Builder
Then use the save as option to save your file in the .XML format.
Then you can input your file in the Alteryx easily.
Many thanks

hi @RemcoV
Since a .tcx file is just xml, you can use an Input tool configured to read xml files.
Once loaded, look at Weekly challenge 116 A symphony of Parsing Tools for techniques on how to extract the data you're looking for.

Hi both,
Thank you for your responses!
I've now managed to at least get the documents inputted the way I wanted to.
I'll be sure to take a look at the weekly challenge for extracting techniques.
Thank you!

Remco
