I have a HR org data set that is structured like this:
| Employee ID | Level | Reports to (Emp ID) |
| 1 | CEO | |
| 2 | Director | 1 |
| 3 | Director | 1 |
| 4 | Manager | 2 |
| 5 | Manager | 3 |
| 6 | Analyst | 3 |
| 7 | Analyst | 4 |
| 8 | Analyst | 5 |
I apologise if this has been answered before I might have missed a link to another thread, but what I want to do is:
If I am a director, I can see everyone who reports to me and their direct reports so I see MY organisation - so I end up with something like the below. Note that I could have different categories of people reporting to me. Director 3 has a Manager and Analyst reporting to them. Ultimately, where-ever I am in the organisation, I want to be able to see who my director is.
| Employee ID (dir) | Employee |
| 3 | 5 |
| 3 | 6 |
| 3 | 8 |
| 2 | 4 |
| 2 | 7 |
THANK YOU in advance !!
