Group By Function

Hi may I check is there a way to sort the data in Alteryx by Group By function without using the summarise tool function?

@dhakim1996, you can try the Tile tool. It depends on the use case that you are trying to resolve.

Ultimately in order to achieve aggregation you will have to use summarize tool.

Hi @dhakim1996.

@grazitti_sapna has a great suggestion using the Tile tool.

If you haven't already, you may also want to look into the Crosstab and Transpose tools under the Transform category. You can often perform stronger summarisations and group by like processes when using these over the Summarise tool. If you haven't already, I'd check out the tool examples in Designer which showcase a great example of how you can perform group bys with these tools.
