In my workflow I have used the summarize tool to group BY PROD ID to find the MAX Date but at the same time I need the relevant CAT ID (A-23) to be included in my output.

Attached the workflow Any thoughts Please.

Hi @micky01,

You can use a join tool after your summarize tool to bring back that extra info for CAT ID.

Hope that helps,

Hello Angelos

Ηι @micky01 ,

Because the "join by specific field" configuration allows you to look for certain fields you want to join on; on the other hand, if you select to join on records position, then that will join based on the record number, so the first records in the L and R input anchors would match.

What we want to achieve is bring in that extra info of CAT ID, but we only need that CAT that has a Date=Mac Date (hence the first join restriction) and a Prod ID = G1 (hence the second restrictions in the join)

Does that make sense?

Great Many thanks Much appreciated.
