What does "running non-elevated" mean exactly ?   This phrase appears in my HELP ABOUT window.

Admin vs non-admin privileges.

My best guess.

To clarify:

The very top line "About Alteryx Admin Designer" tells you that you are running the admin version of the software (as opposed to the Non-Admin version)

If you launch Alteryx as an Administrator then "Non Elevated" will change to "Elevated"

Two different things and I was today years old when I learned them both!

How can I change the "Running elevated" to "Non-elevated"? Should I install the Alteryx again? I can't even drag and drop files in running elevated mode.

When you launch the app, right click and run as administrator (this may be in the "More" menu)
