Google Vision API

Hey Everyone,

 

Are there any wiser and willy'er people out here that have utilsied the Google vision apis in alteryx. Maybe via the download tools or some other method?

 

Am desperate to start with it, but am really spinning my wheels trying to get my head round everything. I've built a project using the download tool to connect to some bing API's before but this seems like whole other kettle of fish, so am feeling thrown and  looking for some pointers.

 

Any suggestions, pointers, or chastisement most welcome at this point.

A good starting point would be opening up the Google Analytics macro that you can find on gallery.alteryx.com, because if you open it up you will find an Oauth macro that handles the authentication step. Then you pass the resulting token into a subsequent call to the Google Vision endpoint.
