Get Invoice number from string (REGEX Function?)

Dear Community,

I am looking for a way to extract invoice number from a string.

The invoice numbers always start with: EE and has 6 numbers after EE*.

However, the position of the invoice number in the field might differ and sometimes a dot is put behind the invoice number.

BGRT - 1234-2314 - Credit invoice for EE245135

BGRT - 1234-2314 - EE205935 Credit invoice
