Geography Format Issue - Latitude Must Not Exceed +/- 90 ...but it does not

I want to map publicly available NASA FIRMS data. See attached.

I need to convert the .SHP file to .HYPER so I can map it in Tableau.

I keep getting the following error.

 invalid geography format: Latitude must not exceed +/- 90¶Context: 0x5fdfad59

Except the MIN value for Latitude is 9.22475

The MAX is 71.35515

My workflow is simply

If I add a Select tool and remove the Spatial Object field everything is okay.  But, what am I missing?

Whomever created the spatial object field in that yxdb switched the latitude/longitude values:

Use a Select tool to drop that field, then a Create Points tool to make a new one and it appears to map correctly.

@CharlieS

Odd.

The error was present w/o any changes.  The original workflow was just an Input Tool (.shp)_connected to an Output Tool (.hyper)

I was able to work around the issue and successfully outputting to a .hyper file by adding a select tool and removing the Spatial Object.   Again, no changes to the LAT and LONG fields.

Tableau had no problem mapping the original LAT and LONG fields.

I experience this problem with multiple .shp files.

Perhaps it's a setting/configuration with whatever is writing the .shp file. That seems to be the common denominator.
