Geographic measurements

When calculating the length of a linear shapefile, does Alteryx base the measurement off a projected coordinate system or a geographic coordinate system?

By default, the Spatial Info tool will use WGS 84, but you can change the projection

Thanks I had no idea you could change from a GCS to a PCS is Alteryx!
