Fuzzy Match Two Columns with Threshold Percentages Output

Hello I would like to match two columns [both location codes] straight across by project number using the Fuzzy Matching tool and output match percentages based on character matched.

I know the fuzzy matching tool is overly complicated and Im wondering if its the right tool or if I can just do it in excel. location codes.png

Hey @Carlos_Tovar ,

Fuzzy match seems to be the right choice in your case. Unfortunately, we don't have a function inside the formula tool to compare strings, that would be a lot easier to develop.

I've created an example here but I suggest you checking the fuzzy match tool mastery to learn everything about it.
