Formula to filter for information by particular names

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to filter event names by the administrator attached to it. I've tried to create a formula (and also used the join tool) but am unable to successfully filter information out.  I could do this in excel but it would take time and I'm hoping alteryx will help.

Ideally, I need to filter for information that only has admin name "CC" in it.

You would use a filter tool with the 'contains' function:

[Alteryx_AR]

Hey @suds144  You can also use Contains or In function  -

[suds144]

Thank you! What if there are various different names in place of "CC". To modify the formula in Contains should I just add a comma?

Hi @suds144 

Contains only allows one string. You would need to do an OR clause like the below. 

[suds144]
