Formula leaving field blank for random records?

Please see attached. I've ran this workflow about a week ago and this did not happen. Nothing has changed to my workflow. I just re-ran it and the formula to calculate book value is leaving some records blank despite having values that would calculate a book value. Any ideas? Is this a bug?

Following up - The records that I was seeing this happen to had NULLS in the fields used to calculate book value. I added data cleanse to replace nulls with 0s and it works again.
