I have to columns [CRN] and [customer_number]  if these match I then want the entry under the [core_participant] column to be replaced by the entry under [company_name]  Is that possible and if so what would the formula be?  Any help greatly appreciated.  As others have regulary said, I am new to this too

IF [CRN]=[customer_number] THEN [company_name] ELSE [core_participant] ENDIF

^ This should go into the core_participant column with a Formula tool!

Hi @hubyh

Please make use of the below formula in the formula tool.

IF [CRN]=[customer_number]

THEN [company_name]

ELSE [core_participant]

ENDIF

One important aspect is, make sure the data types of the column CRN and customer_number are same.

Many thanks
