Formatting data to stay as input

Hi everyone,

 

I receive data that numbers and text Example:  103330E, 24424001.

 

Need Alteryx to not change it and then I also need to lookup off of it. 

 

Formatted to V string under select tool but it drops the E..  Error is 103330E lost information in translation.  

 

What format should I use so Alteryx will keep data in column as input?

Check the Size of V_string you have given, increase the size
