Following Tools Not Recognizing Dynamic Rename Configuration

I'm running Version: 2022.3.1.508 Patch: 4 and I set up a flow to dynamically rename some headers, and the tool that follows the Dynamic Rename tool is not recognizing the renames.  The headers go into the DR tool as "F1, F2, F3...." and that's how they're coming into the next tool.

I've set the DR tool to "Take Field Names from First Row of Data."  

I came across a similar discussion linked below, but there was no resolution to that one either.  Anyone know how I can rename headers from the 1st row of data without using the DR tool?

@Rob48 - have you confirmed that you selected all the necessary fields on the configuration of Dynamic Rename tool? Hope this helps! If you still have issues, can you attach your workflow to this thread?

It's configured correctly, I can see the data coming from the output anchor has the correct headers, but when I link it to the next tool it reads the data as though the DR tool didn't exist.  I've tried a filter, select, and data cleansing and none of them recognize the data coming out.  Oddly, the Data Cleanse tool allows me to select the (non-existent) headers from the tool prior to the DR tool, and then the DC tool output anchor will show the data with the headers I've renamed, and then the next tool after the DC will not recognize the correct data again.  I've saved and closed and reopened the file, and copied over all my input files to a new Alteryx file and the same thing happens each time.
