Fix data in different columns with different names and keep an audit trail

Hi,

I am looking for a way to make changes to my data (which could be incorrect sometimes). So I want to replace incorrect data or field and replace with the correct value and keep an audit trail of changes to the data I have made.

And I also want to do it on comand and not run it always.

I guess it could be done using Find and Replace. Also if there are better suggestions/tools that could be used to replace using a key identifier then that's better since in Find and Replace I would have put multiple of these for multiple columns.

I am a rookie so not quite sure how to do that (checking on Youtube currently) would you have sort of an example that you could show to work it out?
