hi All,

I am struggling with this simple task but I can t find the solution.

I am using the Text to Column tool for splitting my Narrative column with /  - see line 25

But Line 26, I have another special character | , I want to something similar as in excel as “find and replace” but I haven’t found the way yet.

Would you know how ?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help,

Guigui

Hi Guigui,

I suppose you have two options. 1/ you can use Find and Replace twice to basically replace all the characters you wish for the same one and then Text to column to process the field to column with delimiter or 2/ use Regex tool to specify the character which is behind the word (country) and whitespace and replace it no matter what type of the character it is for the one you need.

Cheers.
