Find and Replace error

Hi There,

I was hoping some one could help me with Find and replace issue.

I have 2 files,  one with data for analysis and second one just has 2 columns that helps me to Find and replace. Column A is NAMES this is what I want to find and Replace it with Column B Employee ID.

But I am not able to find the Employee ID option in my REPLACE FOUND TEXT WITH VALUE dropdown, Please see screenshot below and advise.

Hi @AJ_AJ,

the trick is simple: Use a Select Tool and convert the Employee ID to a String, this allows you to use it in the Replace-Option.

I have attached an example of another forum post I answered today where I had to replace Text with Numbers. Let me know if this solves your problem.
