Filter the recent month in a column

Requesting assistance to filter the last month in a column.

Example- input file:

Column 1

01-02-2024

01-03-2024

02-29-2024

03-02-2024

03-22-2024

04-24-2024

04-30-2024

Output file:

04-24-2024

04-30-2024

Current Month is June, so last is May

Thank you @Qiu .  How about if May is missing, how to get the most recent one in a column? There are times that the data for prior month (ex. May) is not available.
