Files Passing Thru a Batch Macro Reset a Fixed Size Length Set in Select Tool

Question

I have a batch macro.

Each file has the same field construct.

I use a Select Tool to manually reset the size of a given field from 1 to 2..

This seems to work, but some files that pass through the macro reset it back to 1.  (Unless that file has been used in the workflow that sets up the macro -- the yxmc.)

How can I force it back in the macro workflow to counter this?

@binu_acs   There are no Auto Field tools, just Select and Dynamic Select.  I try to stay away from Auto Field -- as I have a number of fields that contain numbers that are not numeric in function.

@hellyars Can you check any "Auto Field" tool used inside the macro?
