File Browse Tool to start from a specific path

Hi,

I added a file browse tool to my existing workflow for my colleagues.

When they used the workflow, they gave the feedback that they would like the windows explorer pop-up window to open/start from a particular folder so they avoid the risk of getting lost between various folders.

To give an example, they will bring in file1.xlslx which is under Folder A so they ask if the windows explorer pop-up window could start from Folder A. How can they configure it?

File Browse will remember the last folder that you've been in, so it will return to it the next time. I do not think that there is a way to fix the browse to a specific folder with this tool however I might be wrong. You can do it with Tree tool. If you will use a Tree tool you can set the path as the base for your search and you will need to have a batch macro to then open the file that you selected.

Still looking for a real solution to this problem? We should be able to set a default location for the file browse tool.
