Fields not Available in Icons placed in a Workflow

Question

Hi All,

When I add a new icon to a workflow in designer, the field names of the previous icon are not showing up.  I have to run the workflow in order for the field names to appear.  As you can imagine, running the workflow every time I add a new icon to a workflow is less than ideal.  Any ideas how I can fix this? I am on version 2022.1.1.40869 Patch: 2.  Screen shots attached.  Thanks in advance!

In previous versions, joins, formula icons, and running totals were able to pick up the fields of previous icons.  I cant imagine that would change.

This is an expected behavior when you have a tool such as the cross tab or something you are doing that is renaming/building the headers.
