Field is missing because alteryx automate field has changed

Hi there,

I am using formual tool to combine [Investment Option Identifier] field with other field, however it has error if i use "[Investment Option Identifier]" as field name, the alteryx system automate identify this field as "[​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​.......Investment Option Identifier]" like the picture has shown, why this happened? Thanks in advance!

Have you checked the metadata tab on the top right corner of the results window, when you first connect to the data via input data tool do you see any unwanted characters ?

Dynamic rename tool could help here, once we know a little more about the field naming convention

That looks weird. Maybe check if you have leading spaces (or other weird leading characters) in the field names.
