Extracting the XML code from a workflow

Hi everyone.

I was building a macro this morning that corrupted on me. I get an error message that a Tool ID is not in the document. 
Unfortunately I can’t restore the file. 

Is it possible to read the XML of the macro another way? If I can read the XML I’ll be able to re-build the macro much more easily. 

I was thinking of trying to import the path of the file and extract it that way but I can’t work out how. 

Any help much appreciated.

open the macro workflow with Notepad++ and edit the xml

Hi,

The attached file is XML file which need to convert it to YXMD, so can be used directly within workflow.

If there any simple way to cover the same and reused it.
