Excel output error after using the run command to run vbs

Question

Hi,

I have a workflow where I am using the run cmd tool to execute a vbscript.

The vbscript runs an excel macro. I then want to output to that excel file but I get an error saying the file is open.

I have attached the workflow.

Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Hi @racoon

Try to add "taskkill /F /IM excel.exe" to your run command script(or bat).

This will force to close the Excel file. This might be the problem
