When opening and closing containers, I sometimes get an "unhandled exception" and a big red-X appears across the canvas or overview. If I close and reopen Alteryx the issue is gone, at least for awhile. Looking at the error logs, they all say "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". There doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern (different containers in different flows...) although it seems to occur less if I navigate slowly (ie pause between closing one container and opening another). Any suggestions appreciated.
Hi @Vita ,
That is something I always come accross with different Alteryx versions and have no idea what to do as well.
Best,
Fernando Vizcaino
I have also gotten this error when enabling or disabling a container.
I also came across this article about the red X and I am not sure if the solution there might help for this situation as well? just wanted to point you to a possible fix.
Thanks!
I have this issue with nested containers which I believe this is related to this known error:

I'm definitely curious if people have suggestions though.
No suggestions but am getting the same error as above. Generally restarting Alteryx solves it but I have to be very careful when adding / collapsing containers.
