Error to publish data to Tableau server

Hi everyone,

 

Currently, I facing a problem to publish data to the tableau server using Publish to Tableau Server tools.

I got an error says to Select an existing project, however, I already select the project.

I'm not 100% sure on the issue, but the first thing I would check is what permissions do you have on the Tableau server for that project? It may be that you don't have permission to publish data sources which is causing it to error.

 

Check out this article on permissions and hopefully changing the permission at the project level will solve it.
