Hello Community! We I run a process after inserting "Input Data " and the "Browse Tool", I receive an error message. The error message states "The Designer x64 reported: This is AMP Engine; running 8 worker threads; memory limit 5263.0 MB". I would receive this error message and it would close out the application.
Has anyone ran into this issue before and if so, how did you resolve it? I am completely new to Alteryx and trying to troubleshoot the issue. I took a look into my user settings (see attached screenshot) and adjust the memory limit to 8000 MB before resetting to the default, but that didn't change anything either. Please let me know your thoughts.
@wbroughton this might not work but have you tried running the workflow with AMP engine off
Okay let me research to find out how to turn of AMP engine.
@wbroughton if you go to the user settings under Defaults there will be a box with something like "Use AMP Engine for all new workflows" un-check this and hit save then try run it again.
Note: you may need to restart designer
I tried that and the same exact error message happened. The application also closed out again.
Actually, when I try to run again after adding the Browse tool, it ran with no error message but the application still closed out. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I'm actually experiencing the same issue. From what understanding, since I have already registered the license, if I uninstall and then reinstall a version that is not the most recent, do you believe that will resolve?
