Emails triggered through alteryx not showing up in the sent folder of outlook

Hi,

I am sending multiple emails from the email tool of alteryx but they are not showing up in the sent box of the outlook mail. Why is this happening?

The email tool simply sends an email from your SMTP server to the recipients.  You can technically put anything in the "from" box (as long as there are no spaces, an @ symbol, and a .com).  In fact, for all mine I put "noreply_alteryx@paychex.com" so people know they can't reply to it. 

If you want a copy of the email in your Outlook, then you'll have to add yourself to the recipients (either TO, CC, or BCC).
