Email sent from Alteryx

May i know is it possible that we can send the output / excel file to respective email address directly?

Is there any limit of email address to be sent if this is possible?

Hi @SH_94 

You can do that using the email tool. If you want to send a file and not just the data. You need to create a logic to save the file first and then email that file.

Yes, you can send to multiple address. See the "To Field" ? Where it is selected to to take from the data. So in the data, you need to populate a column with the multiple address you want to send.

Ex:

Data looks like this now:

ID Value

A       1

B       2

Now you want to send to multiple address:

ID Value Email

A       1     email@gmail.com

B       2       email@gmail.com    

A       1     email@gmail.com

B       2     email@gmail.com

Thank you for the information. I had read the article and would like to confirm that is it we need to subscribe or make payment to use the email tool on the automated email.

You DO NOT  need to pay to use the email tool. You can set up to use your company email, gmail, outlook, etc... and use that as the sender. It is free.

Ask your IT if you need help with the SMTP.
