I have tried using both a comma and a semi-colon to separate email addressed in the To: field in the Email Tool. In both cases, I am getting an error "Failure when receiving data from the peer".
It works when only sending to one email address.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated!
Mike
Hi @Mike_Rischard, please check if all of your emails are valid. If all of the emails are valid, then this may be your email setting issue not Alteryx.
Also, by reading at this post, I would recommend to use the text input tool to list out all of your emails and then use summarize tool to concatenate the column using the separator ;
Thanks for the reply Re: Complex Join
After further testing, multiple valid emails separated by a semi-colon only work in the Bcc field. If I use multiple emails in the To or Cc field, I get the "Failure when receiving data from the peer" error and the emails do not send.
We are using AWS-SES a the email SMTP.
Customers experiencing a similar inability to send to multiple TO or CC addresses (but success when sending to one TO or CC address), please contact Customer Support and refer to Jira card TCPE-288
