Email Tool SMTP Host and Port detection and setup

Howdy!

I am having trouble setting up the Email Tool for the first time. When I use the below host and port, it gives me the below error.

I am the first person in my company to use Alteryx, so I can't just tap someone on the shoulder and ask what to put here like I could at my previous employer. I tried using Office 365 SMTP settings and the SQL host we use to store data, and cannot get either to work. I at least get a different error when I use the Office365 host name and port.

Our IT department is very abrasive with helping me setup connections, even with push from upper management. How do I find the right host name to use without any help from IT, and how do I troubleshoot a connection to Office365? I don't mind breaking out the Powershell and Python to achieve this. Whatever it takes.

Hi @C_Hall

Usually the IT is the source of the best config on my experience, but through time and testing it in some places, the bellow config usually works:
