Email ID and User ID

Hello there ,

I have this requirement for Email tool to identify the email id for the given user id .

Is it possible for Alteryx to feed user id to outlook through email tool and outlook to send email to subsequent email id of the userid .

For example :

User ID Email ID

ASWDDD JohnSteve@XXX.com

Email must be to sent JohnSteve@XXX.com .

1. Is it possible to insert hyperlinks such as email ids

Ans: Totally yes you can create body in text tool and insert hyperlink in them and pass it out as email body by configuring email tool to pick body the column.

2. Can values in the tables that changes for email to other email.

Ans: You can groupby the table on category in table tool and respectively pass table to each recipients.

This post might give you an idea how you can create email body and feed it to email tool.

As per knowledge its not possible. Alteryx wont get user ids subsequent email ids. You need to provide valid email ids.

You might want to get HR file/Headcount file/Team mapping file so that you can get email ids associated with user ids and load it to email tool to send email.
