Eliminating outliers

Hi All

 

I am new to detecting/ eliminating outliers on big dataset, hence I am posting this question. I have a dataset which has product and their running time on different instances. What are the different methodologies I can implement to detect and eliminate outliers in my dataset (except IQR)?

At one time I was playing with an outlier detection macro.  It can detect, modify, remove.... it is a start....
