Dynamic name of output in sharepoint output tool

Hello All,

I am new to Alteryx and have a requirement related to output file naming.

I need to generate an output file with a dynamic name in the following format:
ABC‑DDMMYYYY (for example, ABC‑05022026).

So, when I run the workflow on a given day, the output file name should automatically include today’s date- 1.

Could you please let me know if this is possible in Alteryx and how it can be achieved?

Yes, you can definitely do this in Alteryx! In the Output Data tool, you can click the file name field and use a formula to make it dynamic. For example, use DateTimeFormat(DateTimeAdd(DateTimeNow(),-1,"days"),"%d%m%Y") to get yesterday’s date, and concatenate it with "ABC-" to create your file name.

In the Output tool, you can specify the file name and path, allowing you to save the file to SharePoint via OneDrive.
