Dynamic input tool retrieves populates data but not bring the file name

Question

hello,

there are multiple excel files in supfolders. I am able to consolidate the data of the files I want in Alteryx using the Dynamic Input tool. So this works, but I also like to get the full path of the each source file data is retrieved from.

Any suggestions to do this within the dynamic tool?

fyi... when I chose any of the Actions on the dynamic tool to append; it gives an error...

Hi @isokando

In Dinamyc Imput tooll you will set the fiel at yellow to FULL PATH.

You will have a last field with the fullpath!

You can certainly do this! If you go to "edit"

You'll be able to change additional your additional options to generate the full file path
