Dynamic filter output

Any assistance with the following challenge would be greatly appreciated!

I have a filter tool here that splits the data based on whether a certain field equals “BF”. I have both output anchors of the filter tool connected to different join tools. When there are no records in the data equal to “BF” then the F anchor outputs no data and it causes an error in the join tool connected to the F anchor.

Is there a way to make the data split out “BF” records when present and when there are no such records, have all the data flow to both join tools? The main goal is to have the workflow work the same whether there are or are not any records that equal "BF"
