Dynamic date/input - to calculate YTD and YTG in a quarterly forecast

HI!

I am creating a workflow to reforecast my budget. The forecast is every quarter. 

I want to be able to select which forecast period I am calculating. Forecast 1, Forecast 2 or Forecast 3. 

Depending on the forecast period, will depend on the months in which calculate year to date (YTD), and year to go (YTG or rephase). 

Currently my workflow is set to be "as of todays date - 1 month" calculate YTD. However I need this to be dynamic/ be able to select what period we will be calculating. 

Forecast 1

YTD = Jan - March 

YTG = April - December 

Forecast 2 

YTD= Jan - June

YTG = July - Dec

Forecast 3 

YTD = Jan - September 

YTG = October - Dec 

Any help would be amazing, I've been stuck on this for hours :(..

Hi @Charlottedg 

I dont know how your dataset looks like, but you probably can adapt it to this workflow. You can use the filter tool to select the Forecast option, or you could even adapt it to be an analytic app. Let me know if you have any doubts.
