Download PDF files from the link to the specific folder

Dear All,

I would like to create a workflow, by running which pdf files will be downloading from the link to the specific folder

Simply, the data looks like this 

Record ID	URL link
001	link
002	link

As a result, files from the link will be downloaded to the specific folder

Name of the file is saved accordingly report ID

First. can you please advise me on if it is possible to manage by Alteryx?

Under the Developer tab, try the Download tool.

I was trying this tool

But files are not downloading as PDF files

Might you know if I do any mistakes, using Download tool?

Hi @julietta 

You are building the filepath of each pdf file with the formula tool, right? Add ".pdf" at the end of the filepath:

The last 3 tools in the workflow have been configured to save the PDFs downloaded from a website to a folder on my desktop - you should be able to use this as a model and adapt for your usecase.
