Disable Container if no file is selected by user

Question

Hi everyone!

Currently I am working on a Workflow which have 4 different containers. This containers have a certain file each that the user should select through the System Navigation File Selection but this case the user should only select 1, the other 3 must remain empty.

I have worked out something through the use of radio buttons and use them to enable/disable containers but the flow keeps telling me I must select a file for the containers that are not going to be used.

Do you guys have any idea how can I bypass it? (I can also use an empty template for those that are not going to be run, but haven't been able to properly replace the "null" of the user selection with the other path)

Instead of a radio button, you could use a check box also paired with a condition tool that writes:

[1]

Then, connect it with an action tool to the container and select the default options. Test and see. That should net you what you want - on the workflow when selected, and off when not selected.

I just setup a test and had two file browse tools inside two radio selections and it worked with no issues.

My guess would be that there is something off with either the action tools that are updating your file input, or the way you are disabling the containers.

Can you post screens of the setup for those items or, even better, if you can export your workflow and let use see a copy so we can see how it is working.
