Hi @Inactive User

Directory tool is designed to give you only the list of filenames it wont be able to give you excel sheet names.

Hi @Inactive User

By tab I'm assuming you are reading in Excel files. The directory tool cannot do this by itself, but you can specify the sheet name you want by adding it to the end of the Full Path using a Formula tool. From there, you can feed it into a Dynamic Input and it will read in the file and sheet specified.

Here is the configuration on the Dynamic Input tool and the final data coming in from the sheet called Book2.

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

I used your process and modified it little bit to make it work for me. THANKS PHIL 🙂

Hi Phil,

This was great; however, my tab begins down on row 5, there is a column header) that I'd need to read in plus a few rows above that the extract adds (cannot change that).  When I set this up and went to select fields after the file was read in, the headers were not present.
