Directly Send Out A Table In Alteryx

I was wondering if I can send out a table through email using Alteryx? 

Please see the attached workflow.

Yes you can just put an email tool after and configure appropriately (Set Body to equal Field Table). Note you will be sending 3 emails as you have 3 separate tables.

Hi Ryan,

I noticed that you can only choose one field at a time while configuring email. Can you send both of the fields in one email (as shown in the following table)?

I made some changes to the workflow, please see the attached.

Hi there,

I have uploaded a workflow that has added what I think you mean. You need to add a table tool before the email tool, otherwise it will send one email for each row of data, I also changed the data types so they are in the right format for the output.

Has anyone by chance had any luck with adding a table to a body of an email with dynamic text or text at all? I'm looking for something like this using the REPORT TEXT option but the [Table] does not display, just a long text string with column widths etc.  Looks more like html code.  How do you incorporate the table in the body of the email with some sort of verbiage as well?

Change your selection to "attach to an existing field" and select your table. Then it will show as text above your table in the email.

@phoebe_kelley Thanks for the post. That solved my issue perfectly! i.e. how to add a custom message as a preface to a table without a bunch of garbled HTML populating the email body

In trying to look at this example and perhaps using a different version (2021.1)  creating a table and adding intrductory text then the table doesn't work quite right.... I get the following:Any idea how to get just the text and the table?  I followed the idea of attach text to field table but above is what I got in email.
