I use the Alteryx desktop scheduler in a remote desktop setup. I have been facing the issue where the controller settings disappear whenever there's an RDS server refresh or upgrade. Each time this happens, I have to ask the IT team to re-configure the settings again. Is there a fix to keep the settings for good?

Check your Services.(windows- services- Alteryx-)
and Chage Alteryx services to Automatic
this should solve this issue.
