Using 2022.1, Win10; When I close Alteryx Designer, the app appears to close down, but it is still showing in Task Manager. Ordinarily, this has no impact, but it seems to make the OS believe that Alteryx is still in a folder that I last worked in, so if I try to rename the folder, Windows rejects the attempt and says that an app is still using the folder and it cannot be renamed.
This might have something to do with the multithready-ness of Designer - probably the main thread is closing, but some spawned threads keep running?
Also, Designer "sometimes" does not start correctly. If I double click on a yxmd file, most often Designer starts up, but sometimes it does not. Have not noticed this before this version.
@Hiblet I would suggest opening a case with Support. They can assist with troubleshooting as well as start the process to resolve any issues they may see with that version. You can also upgrade to 2022.2 as well as see if that resolves the issue.
@Hiblet
Just like others, try to reinstall if you can ?😁
Thanks for the response, I will open a call. Checking the download portal, I don't seem to have 2022.2 up yet as a possible download. No worries, will take to support.
