Designer 2020.3 Seems Very Slow and Freezes Constantly

Ever since upgrading recently, Alteryx takes a very long time to open and clicking between tools often freezes from 30seconds to a minute.  I just had the visual layout tool freeze for over 15 minutes so I had to crash Alteryx.  Anyone have the same experience of slowness and have any suggestions?

Can you try auditing your machine and perform any performance-related maintenance? I am using 2020.3 on a VM and so far I don't notice any slowness or any other glitches.
