Designate a cache point to run from each time a file is opened and run for first time

I know you can right click a tool and "Cache and Run Workflow."

Is there a way to designate a tool as the Cache and Run point so that every time you open a workflow it automatically cache from that point on the first run?

Not that I am aware of - you can only do so with database connections in an Input Data tool!
